Reduced or inconsistent water pressure

06

The sound of running water when fixtures are off

One symptom doesn't always mean a major plumbing problem—but unexplained water is worth investigating.

Detection Before Disruption

Don't guess where the water is coming from.

The visible damage isn't always where the leak started. The goal is to trace the problem back to its source before deciding what needs to be opened or repaired.

Pipe Repair

Sometimes the leak is only part of the story.

A damaged fitting may call for a focused repair. Aging or repeatedly failing plumbing may point to a larger issue. Moller's evaluates the situation and recommends the repair that makes sense for the system in front of them.

Repair one section—or replace more of the system?

That depends on what caused the problem and the condition of the surrounding plumbing.

A focused repair may make sense when:

  • The problem is isolated
  • Surrounding plumbing is in good condition
  • There isn't a history of repeated failures

Repiping may be worth discussing when:

  • Leaks keep occurring in different areas
  • The existing plumbing is deteriorating
  • A larger renovation already exposes the plumbing system

The goal isn't to sell the biggest repair. It's to understand what the plumbing actually needs.

Leak & Pipe Repair FAQ

Useful answers before you schedule.

How do I know if I have a hidden water leak?

Unexpected increases in water usage, damp areas, water stains, unusual sounds and changes in water pressure can all justify further investigation.

Can you repair a slab leak?

Moller's Plumbing handles slab leak diagnosis and repair. The appropriate solution depends on the location of the leak and condition of the surrounding plumbing.

Does one leak mean my house needs to be repiped?

Not necessarily. Some problems can be handled with a focused pipe repair. Repeated leaks or deteriorating plumbing may justify discussing a larger repiping project.

What areas do you serve?

Moller's Plumbing serves customers throughout Walla Walla, College Place, Dayton and the Tri-Cities area.
